At Pfund Photo Art, we understand how quickly life moves. In the rush, losing sight of ourselves and those we care about is easy. That’s why we’re passionate about slowing things down and capturing the moments that truly matter. Specializing in neurodiverse family photography, we’re here to celebrate individuality and connection authentically and inclusively.
We strive to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone can be themselves and see the beauty in who they are. We want to remind you of your worth, uniqueness, and the incredible story you’re living, one photograph at a time.
We’re Gabby and Chris, a husband-and-wife team who turned our passions into Pfund Photo Art. With Gabby's professional photography degree and neurodiverse perspective, combined with Chris’s psychology degree and love for understanding people, we bring a unique blend of creativity and insight to every session. Together, we specialize in high-quality, inclusive portrait photography that celebrates the beauty and diversity of all individuals and families, with a special focus on neurodiversity.
When not creating memorable images, we’re at home with our two cats and two turtles, enjoying video games, or diving into true crime documentaries. We love going to live concerts, visiting botanical gardens, and exploring new places, whether it’s a local museum or a new city. The shared love for growth and exploration is something we bring to our photography, and we look forward to capturing your story with the same passion.
Growing up in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, I’ve always felt a deep connection to nature. As a child, I spent countless hours exploring the outdoors and caring for all sorts of animals — from cats and dogs to reptiles and fish. This love for nature was matched only by my passion for music, which opened new avenues for emotional expression and human connection.
After high school, I pursued an associate degree in psychology to better understand people and the complexities of human life. This journey has taught me compassion, patience, and appreciation for the amazing diversity of experiences that shape us.
Today, I strive to be adaptable and open, much like water. My life partner, Gabby, entered my world during our teenage years, and her vibrant, courageous spirit instantly drew me in. After some time apart, we reconnected, bringing newfound wisdom and determination to create something beautiful together.
In my free time, you’ll often find me discovering new music across various genres, pondering life's mysteries, and enjoying the lessons that nature offers. I also love immersing myself in roleplaying games, whether on the tabletop or through video games, where I can embrace different characters and stories.
Together with Gabby, I’m excited to help capture the unique moments that make life extraordinary. Each photo celebrates connection, beauty, and the incredible journey we share. Life.
Though I’m a transplant to Colorado, it feels like home, especially having grown up in Colorado Springs. My love for photography began long before I thought it was a career. I still remember using my mom’s Nikon to snap selfies and capture moments with friends in middle school. My journey of self-discovery has had its challenges, but it sparked a lifelong dream of expressing myself through images. I often see life through a camera lens—sometimes it feels dark and sad, with a blue filter, yet still elegant; other times, it’s warm and inviting through an orange hue. Life is beautiful, no matter the lens, and I’m here to show you that.
I’m proud to hold an associate degree in photography with a GPA of 3.89, with certifications in location photography, photography post-production, and portrait photography. As a neurodiverse individual, I embrace the unique perspective that comes with it. I aim to capture the brilliance in every moment.
In my free time, I cherish the adventures I share with my husband, Chris. He’s my partner in crime and the love of my life. I love hearing him explain board game rules or share new music he knows I'll enjoy.
My interests also include baking and yes, cleaning! It’s a vital part of my process to stay organized and focused. I’m still learning my way around the baking world, so if you have any fun recipes, please share! I consider myself a cookie lady at heart. I also enjoy mini art projects and coloring in the fun coloring books I've collected. These hobbies are part of my commitment to mental health and self-care. I hope to spread awareness, understanding, and love through my work and passions.
